Ravi has a total experience of 20 years with exposure to managing Business Operations & Corporate Quality across the globe for a large IT company, devising Strategy and leading Business Process Reengineering, Digitization and Cost Optimization Initiatives for Fortune 500 firms. Ravi had worked on Manufacturing & Supply Chain Optimization, TQM, QFD, TPM, Six Sigma Consulting in world-renowned Earthmoving Equipment (Caterpillar India) and Automobile Manufacturing organizations (General Electric USA, General Motors USA, Mitsubishi HM India, Mahindra & Mahindra, Dunlop India, Castrol India). His last assignment before becoming an Entrepreneur was Head – Quality (CQO) at Tech Mahindra (www.techmahindra.com), a USD 4.4 Billion company with 115,000+ employee base and providing services to 100+ countries with offices in 65 countries.  At Tech Mahindra, he was also the program head and business leader for managing a USD 125 million global outsourcing client from India, China, Hungary, Mexico, and Malaysia. A case study that is discussed at Management Institutes in India is his adoption of Tier II strategy at Tech Mahindra, leading to an additional bottom line contribution and increased business.

As the Director and partner, Ravi had turned around his current organization, Pena4 Tech Solutions (www.pena4tech.com), a 100% Export Oriented Unit in Health Care IT Product Development & KPO solution provider to the US market, into a cash rich and debt free entity. Pena4 Tech employs 300+ resources which grew from 35 resources in a span of 5 years.

Ravi is currently invested and involved in managing Schemax Techno Crafts (www.schemaxtech.com), an IT Application Development and Maintenance services firm, and Interview Buddy (www.interviewbuddy.in) a startup in EduTech space.

Ravi is now the President – ITAAP (Information Technology Association of Andhra Pradesh) an association of IT & BPM organizations across the state of Andhra Pradesh (about 140 corporate members). He takes it as a responsibility in working closely with stakeholders in the growth of the IT & ITeS industry in the new state of Andhra Pradesh. Ravi is actively involved in Vizag Smart City Council, Vizag Economic Development Council, Vizag Security Council, Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh, and is driving many initiatives with the Govt. of AP in IT Policy refinement, Infrastructure Development, Business Promotion, Startups and Incubation Centres, FinTech Valley, Talent Supply Chain, and many more.

He has won several International and National awards such as NASSCOM Innovation Award, “Best of the Best” Chairman’s Honour Award (2007) of General Motors,  USA, “CIO award” for exceptional performance (2006) at OnStar Corp., USA (A subsidiary of GM, USA), Best Strategy/Idea amongst the 80+ Mahindra & Mahindra group companies (annual turnover of USD 17.8 Billion in FY16) – while working as  Shadow Board member (2010) in the revival and merger of Mahindra Satyam  with  TechMahindra.

A Harvard ManageMentor graduate, Ravi had been to institutions like the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and Andhra University. He has publications  in International  Journals  (IEEE)  and presented papers in International Conferences and contributed cases to the book “Case Studies in Marketing: The Indian Context”  published by Prentice Hall. His areas of interest include Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Business Process Re-engineering, Cost Optimization, Business Continuity, Risk Management, and mentoring budding entrepreneurs and students. He is also a visiting faculty for business management at various premier business schools across the country. He speaks at various conferences across the globe, the recent one being at the Plenary Session of Asian Pacific Conference (www.apconference.org) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. A native of Vizag, he is an ardent sportsperson and plays tennis, table tennis and cricket.
